The surveys are done by the monopoly oil companies themselves - they choose where to look and how hard to look. They ignore what they choose to ignore and there is no longer an honest government to check and keep them honest. Peak Oil is not a conclusion reached by honest research to get to the facts. Rather it is an excuse for monopoly pricing. BP oil spill and Fukushima event both help keep long-run supply low and therefore prices high. p_wv4NTNrxU Our problem is deflation not peak oil.
