It just wasn't really in their hearts the way it is in yours. And they can't handle it. Don't let it piss you off. It is a game to them because they aren't *real* artists -- you are a real artist. Know what I mean?

Agreed with the above comments. What a shitty thing to say. Honestly, though, if that's how they view it, I'm glad they're leaving it to you and other people who really do care and have the passion for this kind of work. Good riddance.

Hey Cole. Not that I could ever put myself in the same category as you as far as experience and talent go, but if you ever wanted to start up your own troupe, give me a call. I've only been dragging for a year, but I think about performing every day. It's a passion. I don't think you grow out of a passion, and you certainly shouldn't burn out. If that's childish, who really wants to "grow up"? Anyway, take care, keep it up.
