  • Wayne Hancock is bringing back the old sound Hank and the legends built country on beats all the new stuff!!!

  • Met Eddie and Wayne last summer when they were up in East Lansing; truly two down-to-earth fellows. Can't get enough of Wayne's tunes; his songwriting talent is gigantic. Can't rave enough about Eddie's playing; one of the most under-rated guitar players in the country.

  • @357hank Hey man, just got back to looking at this video.. Wayne has now been to my house three times, along with Lucky Tubb, The Goddam Gallows, and Bob Wayne! I'm actually opening up for Wayne when he comes in February, man!

  • @ltccomics Right on man. I live in Ft. Wayne and was at that show. It was my 1st time seeing him. He's one of my favorites and he'll be here in Feb. at the BrassRail which I'm sure you already know. Cool story though.

  • NUKE NASHVILLE!!!!!

  • Damn one of the best songs ever, gives you the chills.

  • I believe you. and I'm jealous!

  • I bet none of you will believe me, but my dad sold merch at the Wayne Hancock show last night here in Fort Wayne, Indiana at the Botanical Gardens. Wayne Hancock came to my house after the show until 7 this morning. He saidned my guitar and put a $20 bill in my high e string. We talked about how he wrote this song, and how he wrote Johnny Law. If you don't beilve me ask him when he comes to your house. Ask him about the Mule, and his music playin' kids.

  • Ok, I'm not sure if Shelton actually said it, he may have been misquoted. Anyway, they all kick ass.!

  • No. Wayne wrote it. I got my Tulsa CD booklet out to check: "All songs written by Wayne Hancock; Pithc A Jingle Music (ASCAP)"

I'm not calling you or Shelton a liar but, this one was penned by Wayne.

  • if I remember right III said he recorded this in his basement in his early 20's and said it was an unreleased song of Hank Williams Sr.

  • Bullshit, Wayne wrote it. dammit. and it kicks all ass
