@lordkoos Yes, I realize that this song was not on Pet Sounds, just illustrating Mikes lack of foresight of all things beautiful... BTW, Brian states in is biography that he wrote this song the day after JFK was assassinated.. Mike may have 'helped', as he does have writing credits.

@beagle123ist It is well known that during the recording of Pet Sounds, Mike was obstinate and indifferent at best toward the music and lyrics, complaining that 'no one will care'... He only waxed poetic about the record after it was released and it gained acclaim... and started to make him money.
