Double R, Lil' Mickey, Mono-Nick, and I went to Josh Brown's Kicking Camp yesterday. Josh puts this camp on as part of his charity for Cystic Fibrosis research. Josh is the kicker for our Seattle Seahawks & is a great dude, and a good bud to the show. This was truly one of those "once in a lifetime" experiences. We got to go on the field where the Hawks practice in Kirkland & it was surreal. Now I have never played organized football, and one thing I noticed--and I am sure I will sound like a tool for saying this--is that 10 yards is further than I thought. Yes, I am aware that 30 feet is a lot of ground to cover, but being on the field made me realize how far that is. Also, I learned that kicking a football is HARD. I also learned that Double R can pretty much excel at any type of sporting activity he tries. I texted Thee Ted Smith last night about this, and he summed it up best: "Wow, shocking it involved sports and Double R was good. I think it's OK to hate him." Check out Josh's charity by going to www.thejoshbrownproject.com & buy a hoodie sweatshirt...they are sweet, and the money goes to charity! Check out today's video blog, as it's all about Josh Brown's Kicking Camp!
