Did you have pain before surgery? I am in almost constant pain and a surgery candidate but I wonder if it will help the pain.

I am 11 and I have a 57 degree angle.. Scoliosis sucks and I hate it! It is terrible.. I am on a brace right now.. If it doesn't work I have to get surgery.. Whoop de do -.-

I have a 30 something degree curve and like a 20 something degree curve. Found out my brace isnt working so going to start physical therapy. If tht doesn't work then surgery. I'm 13 and just want to get this ovr with

I 've had scoliosis since was 13 but back then I didn't need the op, I just used the back brace and slept in traction until I was 16. My treatment stopped at 16. Now at 42, married with 2 kids i'm in constant pain. Saw a specialist last week and my curve is now at 70 and have been refered to another specialist which i'm waiting to hear from. I'm pretty worried what with the stress of not knowing what's gonna happen and the financial stress as I am the main bread winner in the household.
