Sammy Kershaw (1958-) is a country singer from Kaplan, Louisiana. In his youth he opened shows for Merle Haggard, George Jones and Ray Price. Between 1991-2001 he placed 25 singles in the country top 40. Eleven of the singles reached the top ten and three of them peaked at number two. He is still recording and performing today.
