The above clip is of the first burnout of the day, at Bandimere Speedway on June 28th, 2006. This is to clean off the old rubber on the surface of the tire, to warm up the tire to make it sticker, and to warm up the batteries a little. And it looks cool, too!

After being on http://www.hackaday.com for a few hours, my web site (www.ciciora.com) got shut down due to too much bandwidth! So I transfered the videos to YouTube and provided a link to it.

  • What kind of electric motor use it ?? thanks Leo

  • @leotorito A pair of "Advanced DC" brand DC motors, originally manufactured for things such as fork lifts. More information is available at the Killacycle web site.

  • WER IST WEGEN GALILEO HIER XDD

  • at least he didn't crash it

  • Sounds like my rc car.... I think its a tad bit faster though.....

  • lmao it sounds like an angry hair drier! but that is awesome, electric motors are totally the way forward, the only problem is the batteries cannot compete with fuel engines yet.

  • haha billy done crashed it when he tried! :D

  • is that three AA batteries?

  • engine horse power and electric motor horse power are measured different all according to rpm and a electric motor can be much more powerful than its total weight !

  • @jackhow66

Also, I think the reason it only runs 8's is because the bike only has low end torque due to it being powered by electricity. I've seen a turbo hayabusa run 7.9 on the 1/4 mile.
