instead of bread, pasta, starches, chips, cake, etc...eat tons of fruit, makes sense to me.

Great video. I've heard fructose doesn't satiate (Robert Lustig), so it's all left to glucose by itself- at least via one particular mechanism. But why wouldn't complex carbs satiate, if they are broken down into glucose? I'm thinking about sweet potatoes. I remember them as having been satiating and they are complex carbs. Is it because they were carmelized?

that's a good analogy, "if i was tasting it or it was tasting me"... acidic foods are eating us, for our energy... rather than us eating alkaline foods for there energy
