Hahaha look at all these douches getting but hurt!! haha All i can say is line up with a jackpot and see what happens!! And i'm not a sport biker!! not anymore!! haha I only bought it cause i couldn't afford a victory at the time!! Yes a victory could never beat an r1 top speed. but zero to 50mph later R1. You guys gotta realize its comparing apples to oranges.... inline 4 cylinder vs a v-twin... not as much hp but way more torque!! The only bike i would ever buy now is a victory. They are nice!

i love the 30 MPH speed limit sign right next to the start point lol

U cunts r fucking retarded,maybe get some1 who can jet off the line on that r1 and see what happens!

first of all, raiders are nice, but doesn't have the get up and go like a victory, i raced my victory with my buddy on his raider, and it was no competition

I'm an "idiot" that has ridden ALL kinds of bikes, maybe a tricked out Victory could maybe pull a hole shot on a crappy rice burner if he had one spark plug wire pulled off. I currently own a Raider 1900 which will smoke anything Victory ever made including the HD V-Rod but would NEVER stand a chance against ANY modern rice burner 600 cc up, Just a stone cold fact. The guy on this vid is either sand bagging or just stoned. It's common sense people. Big V cruisers are NOT dragsters!

@dynatimmer you sir, are an idiot. brother in law owns a hammer, watched him at the speedway a couple different times, smashed r1's r6's and a dood with a gxsr 750, for whole shot that is

Its not where you start boys. Its where you finish. The R1 is simply a more powerful and sportier bike. But then, the Vegas will give a better long ride though.

whos kidding who..........only an american would believe those results.......suggest the the gentleman on the yamaha learns to launch his bike properly......next thing somebody will suggest the victory is capable of winning a superbike race......any doubters look up the time for a Hyabusa suzuki or zx 1400 s o-100 k times

its obvoius the metric bike was taking the start very easy duh. ever think it was the driver

again more media hype, just go to the drag strip, NOT a public street with unknown riders and conditions and ask anyone. You will be laughed. The massive torque produced by the v-twin just barely makes up for the massive weight of the bike therefore cancelling out any advantage. Just the set up of the motor and transmission make it a poor drag bike. Keep it up though I'm sure there are plenty of newbies that buy your fake video and outlandish claims and opinions. You know the truth.

@dynatimmer youre full of crap. There is no way the R1 will smack the torque of a big Vtwin over the first few hundred meters. Ive owned both and the R1 sure does have some way out balls. It will out handle and out accelerate the big twin once it hits its straps but the torque of the twin beats the hp of the inline 4 from a standing start.....I will gladly take your bet on the weeks wages.
hard to fake a video shot off an i phone. More torque, longer wheelbase equals much better holeshot speed.

This is a complete BS video, NO street legal V-twin is gonna beat an R1 off the line PERIOD. I own a Yamaha Raider 1900 I know all about torque but the fastest bike I have owned as far as quarter mile is an old 2 stroke Yamaha RD350. I would put a weeks salary on that my friends.

@dynatimmer
Love that RD-350, RD-400 was even better, but I'd take that bet right now. Used to ride one way back and a buddy has an RD-400 right now, so I've riden one recently. It's quick for a small bike, but the Vic has way more torque. Top end, no question, and even in this video the R-1 catches me at about 1/8 mile, but I had shut down already after blowing 1st to 2nd shift twice - I was trying to speed shift and the transmission wouldn't let go w/o the clutch.
