That's funny, on my 1990 535i, I paid the dealer $120. Other places like Meineke ($500) or Pepboys ($350) we're trying to rape me lol

okay, no problems but have it fixed. The cam shaft could suffer if you wait too long. Of course, avoid the BMW dealer and resort to a good specialist who knows its old BMWs.

oh and don't go to the bmw dealers -- they charge you triple of the price a good specialist does.

Throttle is in the Throttle body not in where the valves are.

hey, it's difficult to say from just this video. With 535s it's common to have the valves adjusted every 10000mi / 15000kms. Do you hear any throttle loss when gassing up from 0 rpm? If the revs go down the first second, that could point to inefficient valve adjustment. With my 535, it made a huge difference.

actually you know what, when i blip the revs the engine does kinda stutter before the revs go up. thanks for the info mate
