@RobertsNetworkCom yes they had, each year they won a premiership (excluding 1999) they had breached the salary cap that year.
-
@RobertsNetworkCom they'd be doing it over several years
-
@RobertsNetworkCom If any club is breaching the salary cap its Collingwood and remember Carlton has been caught before and the only thing that happened was they lost draft picks

no fuckin justice in football .. if there was .. teams that have a drought would end it (like dogs/saints)
-
those are 3 players u hate 2 see cry .. hayes, goddard and ball .. wierd how goddard and hayes brought st kilda sooooooo close in 2010 and ball barely played in the last quarter in 09 .. hmm .. st kilda could of easily gone back 2 back .. but i guess there's no justice in footy .. no matter who you go for .. you couldn't be angry if st kilda and/or western bulldogs beat your team to win their 2nd.

@Alsimo44 hawkins coned the goal umpire, but the we must ask ourselves, wat the heck was the field umpire doing at that time? after all he is the one who has to give the signal 'all clear' so it could be deemed a goal
-
@AndyG1678 not entirely true, geelong could have been goaless in the 07 gf and still won easily
-
@aaai30 cancels out the phantom goal then doesn't it?
well that makes the hawks 08 GF a hollow victory then does it? No it doesnt! If you dont kick goals you are not playing good football. Maybe if the saints didnt play 17 games inside at etihad then they would be more capable of kicking goals in windy, wet, real football conditions. You are just another Geelong knocking muppet. Go find something better to do with your time than post bull shit comments that show no real understanding of AFL. And yes it is satisfyng to know that MY team are premiers

That moment of realization when the grand final finishes, there's no more footy for another 6 months. Kind of a sad feeling I guess.
