It struck me there was an interesting link between the points I've been making about institutional corruption, and an argument about the way gov't blocks innovation. So here is a remix of the first to make the point of the second.
Now that heath care reform, although weakened, has actually passed, I think people will be more willing to ignore the tea bagger noise and veiled racism. Still corrupt surely, but there is now more momentum to overcome at least some of it.
