Second, my friend is playing this on piano it's not the "real" instrumental. We got sheet music and played it.
Third, yes it is off on ONE part. ONE. I know because I sang this for many competitions. I do have the improved version. It's just that I got the messed up one before the improved one.

No, it's not just you. This instrumental doesn't sound like an original because it doesn't move to a consistent beat. If it was done professionally it would be steady and easy to sing to.
