Video Blog 23

Deaf 18 year old does her 23rd videoblog in sign language. WRITTEN TRANSCRIPT:
Hi! I wanted to talk to you while I cook dinner... cooking diner for my family, don't have much time but wanted to talk...
I've gotten a lot of inquires about my past and how I came to know God.. thought I'd put together a quick video giving a short summary --

I had a very good childhood -- I was different than all of the other children so I got teased a lot in elementary school.
First heard God's voice at 8 yrs. Always kenw he was real but never understood his love for me.

I was exposed to pornography at age 10, and met 1st boyfriend at age 12.

Went church every week, sat there like a hypocrite - was leading a double life, lying to my parents
My faith fell away for two years where I was very depressed and didnt' care about Him much at all
I was very angry at God for a long time for reasons that I won't go into tonight because it will take too long to explain --

I was with my high school sweetheart for two years, and when we broke up senior year... I started seeking God again more because I no longer had a boyfriend to distract me.

And WOW... The God I found there was very different than the God I thought was there..

It was amazing... and the last year and half since the break up has been amazing. I have been changed so much
and everytime I see His face or encounter Him then I'm changed even more
He gives me peace...
and He gives me everything that my boyfriends couldn't give me that I was looking for

One more thing... the last month... remember the last vlog I told you I lost my car and job, right? Yeah, God is amazing.. *grin* He blessed me with twice the amount the money I used to make a month..

I don't know how He did it. BUT GOD IS AMAZING. I give Him all the glory :) Also... one month ago.. He gave me a new car also... MIRACLE.. :)
I don't have much time to talk but wanted to catch up with you... love you all.. you wonderful people :) God Bless You!

Praise and glory be to God almighty in Heaven! I can totally relate to the persecution you went through as a kid just for being deaf. I've been there too.

That is an awesome story, Mum is always tellin me about how when people something troubles you, God gives you in return double E.G. you lost your car and Job then God gave you twice as much money and a new car hehe :D

Im glad that you have gotten closer to God again. I think everyone goes through a period that they dont understand Gods love and fall away. But when they come back, its stronger and better than before. I cant wait for your next vblog!
