The eBay special is pretty cheap. The connectors were all junk, and it seems to limit the revs too low. Overall quality was low.

This is generic to all IRK's: I found that it didn't seem to actually add any performance. Once riding, I could not notice a difference. The only noticeable change is when revving in neutral.

Use of an IRK is rider preference. In my case, I don't like the IRK. Another rider may prefer it. In my opinion, I'm sure an IRK would work fine for some riders but the eBay special should not be a first choice.

  • Yes of course. They won't run at all without them. I don't think you could even wire it up without one. None of the wires match.

  • I just got my Pitster Pro 140 and it came with an outer rotor. Smaller than the standard flywheel, but a tad bit larger than an inner rotor magnet. One of the best ignitions I have ever seen..

  • all the inner rotor kit does is to let the engine run more freely unlike the magneto, it doesnt change riding performance it just lets the engine run freely possibly letting the engine last longer

  • Your fuckin stupid bud you want a rev limeter so your bike doesn't blow up and you still getting the same RPM as you did be for it's just the bike revs up quicker to that point and can't go any more because now the air to gas spark are all perfect there for you get the maxuim power your just too fat for that little bike and a fuckin dummy that should learn how to properly install and inner rotor kit
