@deeman7030 is that why whal came out with the 1/16 and 1 1/2 guards? for the fade blades to fill in the gap? I never owned any kind of seniors but Im so tempted.. I seen barbers use the regular seniors and fade without using the 1/16 guard

@MasterBarber001 thanks for the knowledge, I was having a hard time with my fades when I was working with the masters fade blade. Now it all makes sense, good tips. Thanks

@deeman7030 The soul purpose for fade blade is to "get and cut closer" than regular super taper or regular senior blade, Its not a rule what its designed to do,some prefer to use it with freehand shaping becuse they think they get a closer and precise cut, like I said no rules , u use ur imagination for what u think its best suited for..Yes when u fade with a "wahl fade blade" u follow same stepts to a fade with regular blade,.note this is not the case with andis fade blade, only wahls.

@deeman7030-yes u fade the same way as u do with the regular seniors but use the 1/16 gaurd to make it easier for u to fade out...

I have both the Magic clip and the 5 star Senior, I have 2 questions... Whats that fade blade designed to do? So when Im fading with the fade blade do I follow the same steps to a fade as I would with the regular blade?

@SHOOKEDsoul2 Man I luv the reg seniors ....out of habit that's what I pick up The most....Thr key to. Using WAHL guards is all about angles ....a lot of barbers complain but I like the re WAHL guards ! Also Thr esh senior has s new v9000 motor and that motor is nice/powerful !
