i can agree, i have an 08, poor fuel economy, and it only takes premium, also this car is quick, but if you want to drive it and have fun, be ready for many trips to the dealer for repairs, ive had mine 7 months and ive already made 6 trips, rear bushings, front hub, throtle sensor, flywheel bearings, clutch vacum pump, engine tick, you name it its broken, car only has 20k on it. its fun to drive, but hard on the wallet. its under warranty but the time to go to the dealer and all that stuff.
I own one of these, an '07 model with turbo like this one. It's amazing to drive, looks the business and very little goes wrong with it. the only downsides are the high price, poor fuel economy and the stiff ride that comes with having 17'' alloys and run flat tyres
What, for £16K new? Last I checked, Porsche didn't do anything for that price - and nor were they winning Car of the Year.
I rate these, having just picked up one as second car. The 1.6 Turbo works better than the old Supercharged model - saving you on tax and petrol, yet not losing any appreciable performance.
Power is instant and smooth, with no turbo lag. Torque sheer is minimal and Sport mode makes the whole thing stiffer than a young Ron Jeremy. Awesome on a curve.
okay my parents are willing to buy a cooper S for my 16 b day (in 3 years lol) because they love mini. Is it fun? is it comfortable? tell me everything I need to know
You must be a ricer. The true car enthusiast doesn't judge a car by only its looks but by its classiness, its performance, and its quality. Mini meets and exceeds all of the above in my eyes.
