My Ducks in China

Huey and Luey. Their life was short but sweet; meaningful to me and everyone else they came into contact with. Before China, I had never had a pet duck. And here, it's not common to either (like it isn't in the U.S.) But a Chinese friend gave me these two little cute furry chirpy pets as a gift and so I raised them for one month, fed them, let them swim in my water basin. And one day, after leaving them swimming for too long, they had drowned and died. It was the darkest die in May, 2006 for sure. And all of China, weeped.

They had a way but they failed. I already feel horrible. Name-calling now doesn't help. Don't worry, I won't ever own ducks again in my life.

They drowned while swimming one day. That's how they passed away. :(

My cute little duck hasn't been in China for ages, and he really misses going there. I helped him cross the border of China two years ago with a girl I met in a pub. She was a bit fat, but, as I usually say, China is China...

Aww that's so sad :'( I hope they R.I.P. and that they had a wonderful life (which I think they did =D )

I had 3 ducks, Venus, Noche and Dia.

Dia died on her/his third day.

Noche died 15th feb 2010 :( ((she was almost 3months, I think)

Venus still lives .

Ducks are wonderful creatures, I think :)
