If you have not yet asked Jesus to come into your heart and forgive your sins and give you His salvation, we at Arise Ministries urge you to do so. Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior is the most important decision you will ever make - and one which you will never regret. There is no peace like the peace that Jesus can put into your heart. There is no joy and hope like that we get from our Lord. If you would like to learn more about the way to salvation and about how much GOD loves you, simply begin studying the Bible - His Holy Word. If you do this, with a humble heart and a open mind, you will find the answers and truth that you seek.
If you don't have access to a Bible, you can download one free from: http://www.e-sword.net/. This website provides free Bible resources in many different versions and languages. The included search engine is very powerful and can enable you to quickly find answers to Bible questions that you may have. (Note: The initial download only provides the most basic resources. After the program is downloaded, click on "Help" and then on "e-Sword On The Web" to get access to seemingly endless amounts of information.)
Once you have access to a Bible, turn to the Book of John and start reading every day - chapter by chapter, verse by verse. From John, go back to the Book of Matthew and begin reading through the New Testament. Ask the Lord to give you wisdom to understand what you read, for without His wisdom the words will seem utter foolishness. With His wisdom, the words become your path to eternal life.
The New Testament of the Bible (chapters Matthew through Revelations) documents the life of Jesus and tells about why he died for you. If you have not studied the Bible before, read through the New Testament a couple of times before you get into the first part of the Bible - the Old Testament. Becoming well grounded in the New Testament will greatly shorten your learning curve about the nature of GOD and your need of salvation. Some helpful verses related to salvation are: John 3:16, John 3:36, Romans 10:9, Matthew 11:28-30, Philippians 4:19, 1 Peter 5:7, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38.
