@mikeyman211 no hypnotism is more than a placebo effect. A good hypnotist (not stage magician) can hypnotise anyone. the brain is very dependant and independent at the same time. it all come down to the Agentic and Autonomous state in which people are in; if someone breaks the minds concentration and 'surprises' it the brain then becomes susceptible and will 'ask' for someone to tell it what to do. This has been proven and there have been people known to be able to do this with a stare.

@Constavlos he lost his sight after 12 years of performing, the hypnotist now works with Oscars son. Hope that helped.

Bollocks. Especially considering that hypnotism is merely a placebo where it only works on those who implicitly or explicitly believe the authority of the stage magician, then any real skeptic is immune.
