My favorite 3 guitar players (along with Yngwie Malmsteen)! Joe still had hair back then! Makes you wonder why he shaved it COMPLETELY bald.

@bluesugarmonkeys I agree with you about Brian May. He is spectacular.... But I do think Joe Satriani has tons of feel and soul as well. He is not just another speed demon on guitar like Malmsteen and Batio. Most of his song are just grooves with lots of versatility. I can recognize Joe Satriani when i hear him as well.... That just proves you are a fan and/or familiar with them. Not that they are anything special.
