Archival photos from the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library, comments by friends, family members, and former LBJ administration officials, and an in-depth interview with Lady Bird herself, provide a deeply personal and riveting look at a woman who made numerous and significant contributions to the nation—from the beautification of Americas roads and highways to the initiation of the Head Start program. This film aired on PBS stations across the country on June 18, 1993.
