It says Allis Chalmers on it but I think it is actually a Corliss. There was a sign there that told the history on it but I checked my photo album and didn't get a picture of the sign. I may be able to find the info on it out at my parents place but it may be a few days before I get out there. If I find it I'll let you know.

Okay, I found some info. It was manufactured by Allis-Chalmer's in 1906 at the West Allis Plant. It is serial number 368 and has a 20 inch cylinder with a 42 inch stroke and rated for 125lbs steam pressure. It uses the patented valve system that was designed by George Corliss (hense the Corliss reference). It was used at the REO motor company in Lansing, MI.
