This is the kind of thing that gives me trouble understanding the world. I just don't know how a baby could be born so beautiful and healthy and then pass away in the hospital for no reason. I understand SIDS, and how a baby can stop breathing in the middle of the night which causes the infant to be without oxygen for too long. But I don't understand how something like this could happen in the hospital with medical professionals present 24/7.
