The Anglican Church was established only for the pride of King Henry VIII's intention for cancel the marriage with the Queen Catherine for marry Anne Boleyn, and so at the same time the king became also head of the Church, replacing the Pope
Now approved in addition to easy divorce, gay marriage, the priestesses, promotes condoms ...
In short, a church founded by a man of the world that continues to profess the doctrines of the World, instead of God.

@leopictor I know many 'infallible' popes who were over sexed as well. One pope was Gregory, father of 'saint' Sylvester, also a pope. Yur church is just as sinful as the Church of England. Your church committed murder, idlatry, incest, rape, and added to the word of God (maccabees is not Scripture, neither is Baruch, Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach)!

@kopec1 And you obviously don't know British church history. You're VERY much mistake about that "never a time when British Christians were out of communion with Rome." Read on the history and background of the Synod of Whitby, which, meeting in--I believe it was 603CE--discussed whether the British church would consent to entering into communion with Rome and, if so, what conditions that would entail. The British church was a free-standing entity until that time.

@kopec1 "Legitimizing" doesnt have much or anything to do with it. All of this is a matter of history, of politics. The Vatican was a heavy-hitting political entity at the time and had its interests to see to. If Henry had applied for his annulment 10 years earlier--or 5, perhaps even les, before Catherine's nephew had sacked Rome, He'd have had no trouble putting his wife away since he was willing to pay what it cost. However, the Spanish WERE occupying Rome when Wolsey arrived. No sale.

@dannyb510 Sad attempt to legitimise the desire of Henry VIII to divorce his lawful wife. There was never a time when British Christians were out of communion with Rome until mad King Henry and Elizabeth martyred a Catholic nation.

I like Anglican Church is better than Rome!
This comment has received too many negative votes show
The (Anglican) Church's one foundation
Is on King Henry's balls
It was his own creation
He wanted a divorce
The Spanish Queen was frigid
And he was over sexed
He wanted satisfaction
In this world
Not the next

i though that anglican, knowing that they are very coles to catholics, do not proselyte them...
I think it is more usefull to promote christianity in non christian countries than proselyte other christans (true too for the Catholic Church)

True, we're just talking to people who don't feel conmfortable anymore in other Churches, we're not "stealing" sheeps, we're just looking after lost sheeps. That's makes the difference.
