Fact: the original ending for the film showed freddy and jason awakening in hell. jason got his fingers back while freddy got his body back. when they are about to fight, chains began to fall on them and then pinhead showed up. however it was deleted cause the director knows nothing about pinhead

Freddy had a smart idea tranquilizing Jason so he can haunt his dream and then find out his weekness (Water) i thought that was pretty cool how they showed him as a little kid and why he was afraid ove water because of that camp he was in and how they bullied him.
