  • what were the chords you were playing?

  • @DropShopCop i was playing the G, C and D chords. I"ll post a link in the video that will give you a closeup of how i play them. Thanks for the message..good luck!

  • how do u know if a string is tuned?

  • @parisgala the key for a beginner is to get an electronic tuner. I still struggle being able to hear the note clearly enough to tune it. It's much easier to get someone to show you how to use an electronic tuner. Hope this helps

  • @RoJoproductions123 Trust me get a real tuner. I tried with the comp and my tune was all fucked up. Tuners give u the perfect noise. And remember to get a real good tuner. It will definitely be worth it.

  • You can buy an electric tuner on the app store for Iphone. only $3

  • @SammyBoy757 every note you strum one string, you strum every string(or nearly) if it is a chord.

  • @cowgirl9713 check out my video 2 on my praise in 10 days videos. (they're on the right side of my homepage)

  • thanks for that 5th tip :)

  • For every note do you strum EVERY string or just one????

  • @w9jon if your fingers hurt stop playing for about an hour or so. when i first started i could only play for about thirty minutes. now i can play for as long as a want. also dont press so hard on the string. like he said you want to be as close to the fret bar as possible and this allows you to press softer for the same sound. so ya keep playing. hope this helps.

  • im having a hard time with bar chords. will this come with time? also my fingers hurt so bad. is it suggested that i carry on playing?
