@truth2belief I figured as much. I knew I couldn't be the first one to notice that scene was homage to trigun. I just felt like pointing it out since I had never seen anyone else do it. Also, thanks for pointing out there's another parody, but can you tell me what scene that's from in DBZ?

@PKBlackTornado2 The "another shrine maiden" makes the most sense I guess. Mostly because it shows the barrier completing and her standing right in front of the finishing point. Thanks for enlightening me!

Oh my god, the scene with Aya and Momoji is pretty much an exact replica scene from the opening of the anime trigun. Aya replaces the character Meryl and Momiji replaces the character Milly. They even put the cat in. That's just plain awesome.

@Blitzscreig The anime here is actually has a couple scenes that are replicas. This was pointed out to me June 3rd last year at 2:08AM by a certain, very sharp member. The very member that had requested that this be translated. So at 1:20 there is a trigun parody and a DBZ parody at 1:50.

@truth2belief Wait never mind, I feel totally stupid for not seeing that, it's when Shenron is summoned from the dragonballs isn't it. Man do I feel stupid, thanks anyway.

@Blitzscreig Yup Yup. I should have said 1:42 instead of 1:50 with the dragon in the background... but we can't edit comments. I didn't even notice this myself, even after having watched the scenes many, many times for the sake of translating and timing so I wouldn't call that stupid. I've seen Trigun and DBZ myself, too.
