Gimpyfish (Bowser) vs Tiep (Samus) Match 1

One of the many matches that took place at the post-tourney pools tourney after the january 2007 Gameclucks tournament. The top 5 players from BC and Gimpyfish decided to do a pools semi-tourney after gameclucks. We called it "gameclucks, change your name".(inside joke)

basically what happened was we all agreed to play pretty seriously and do a recorded best 2/3 with everyone else. Every player has a 2/3 set with every other player and this is one of those many matches that took place.

bowser's power sheild is technically one of the most difficult things in smash, the timing gives you almost no frames for error, bowser's power shield bubble barely covers him at all, so it becomes VERY difficult to do it consistently

@Gimpyfish62 Hey Gimpy, I´m sure that you allready know this, but Bowser´s Forward Tilt nullifies both types of Samus´s missiles along with uncharged charged shots (the Forward Tilt also nullifies Charge Shots of medium size, but I´m not sure If it nullifies Fully Charged Charge Shots). It isn´t hard to nullify Samus´s missiles and charged shots with the Forward Tilt If she fires them in the ground. You can also use the Forward Air to nullify Samus´s missiles in the air.

The only thing I see keeping Bowser from being a decent-tier character are that, if his attacks miss, you're gonna hurt. Gimpy does an amazing job of minimizing his vulnerabilities through a combination of L-cancelling and patience. Hat's off to you Gimpy. You inspire all of us Bowsers. =)
