That's Vilma Banky in a scene from The Eagle. Such a memorable scene! Wow...

I swear that scene where Rudy is being taken away to die with tears in his eyes never fails to get to me! Vilma is wonderful too as his new grief stricken bride. It makes me tear up every time! *sniff*
I love Rudy. :)

@TheLadyMalfoy I absolutely agree, accept to me watching that scene I cant help but feel a little bashful and embarrassed when he looks at you with those eyes...I'm like "aww I'm sorry Rudy please forgive me for disturbing you." lol

I love this video, the clips and the music are so beautiful. Valentino was the ultimate. He brings out feelings like no other. I especially love to see the way Vilma responds to him, you can just feel the passion and arousal she feels in her scenes with Rudy. So believable...

He was so handsome and so romantic. I love watching all his movies even though they were silent but yet spoke a thousand words. Thank you for posting this video...

@wagnerfan27 His life was so sad, so tragic. He never found the peace and love he sought... neither have most of us. We are in awesome company!

Sometimes I don't know how I am going to stand it----he was the most beautiful man who ever lived and he died so tragically young.....it makes me ache so inside because he was utter perfection, utter sex appeal and utter MAN.....thank God we have the film footage that we do.... because to watch him is a transcendent experience, one that at once elevates the soul and touches the basest female instincts...He was an exotic, magnificent creature, the likes of which we will never see again.

Such a truly sensual actor - Valentino is everything us women want - the slow romantic gestures - the flirtatious eye contact with his leading ladies - the powerful arms - the red hot lips............Oh dear excuse me while I swoon
There will never be another Valentino. The tenderness, the delicacy, the virility, the grace, the power, the depth of passion; the reverence for woman as herself alone, the palpable softness of his touch pouring through the screen. He still makes women's pulses race, and robs them of their breath with his power. He is romance, mystery and he is man.

He was love and romance and all that was charming and natural between a man and a woman. I think he was the ultimate sex symbol of any age, even to this day. I feel he would have grown into better roles and his talent would have grown with his maturity. I read that he was a true gentleman and had a wonderful empathy for other people and life in general. We still mourn his too early death and his often unhappy real life. He gave much to film and to his adoring public.
