No. They wanted to expand the park and add more attractions. to appeal to a wider audience. Face it; DCA is inferior in more ways than one to its neighbor across the plaza. So Disney decided to put 1.1 billion dollars in renovations and expansions to the park. This ride was the first step, and there's a lot more coming.

Trust me, This is what DCA needs; more entertainment for the whole family. Soarin' and the Bug's Land area are like the only things for kids to do. Families need more things.

I just dont understand.. Why make another disneyland across from the original disneyland? They said it wasnt friendly enough or whatever and they took the california letters away. Didn't they name it california adventure for a reason? I mean california adventure was for the thrills and disneyland was for the fun and entertainment and everything. they really r f'ing up. i really hope that we dont see them go bankrupt and close.. that would be badd.

Universal dropped that ride; Hollywood Studios can take it, right? (they have references to Alien in that movie ride, so why not BTTF?)
