Many people fear the idea of ghosts, spirits, and lost souls haunting them, playing tricks, or haunting their homes.

Acharya Shree Yogeesh states that we should not fear these bodiless beings. He further states that exorcisms do not work, as priests, ministers, rabbis and other religious leaders are not on that higher level to see the ghost or spirit, and casting them out of the home, or person.

Acharya Shree also mentions that people may be haunted by spirits and ghosts because of their own karma. For example, you were a boss to an employee, and you did not treat this employee well and eventually committed suicide. This ghost (by suicide) will not haunt you because of your own karma. Therefore Acharya Shree suggests to be good to others instead of collecting that karma, which may bring ghosts to you.

Why do ghosts exist at all if we are reborn after death? Surely our spirit is too occupied to become a ghost?

in the vedic literature they talk about bhutas pretas pisachas globins vetalas dakinis kaminis yakinis vetalas brahma rakshasas etc victims of blackmagic sometimes they face horrour due to such demons,there are also planetary beings that can harm you.once i talked to a lama and he said to me that the ocult world is vast and depending of your attitude you attract such beings and they are the ones that change your karma by their interaction in your life.

we have a couple in our house, they don't bother us more like watching over us. they have followed us from our other house i think. I hear someone whispering to me, but i cannot understand them. they sometimes touch us on our shoulder but no more than that. they don't scare me. I just whis i knew who they were.
