and her mesmerizing coquetry,like flashing lights.)

sta selweikht zara ketaaba,
da de dwa khwage khabare.

( your referance of forty thousand books,
and her mere sweet intimate talk.)

sta waade ugde da hurro,
delta sre shunde shakare.

(your lengthy promises of huurs in heaven,
here the beloved's red lips, sweet as sugar.)

tala qarez jwendoon der krhem,
da rakey pe melghalare.

( your offer of a mere loan for my life,
here i am getting precious stones in reward.)

mashoom na yem che jannat preg dem,
sta da suur dosakh da yarre.

( i am not that childish to leave this heaven because of your threats of red burning hell.)

janana mai-khana der krem,
wakhlem sta kende kapare.

( i give up the house of wine and merry-making,(tavern) for your deserts and canyons.)

mulla ta sakale na di,
nare sre shunde kaapare.

(preacher ! you have not tasted these thin pagan lips.)

sta pa gheig ke naste na di,
da kalo dake kemtare.

( the girls of this world dressed with ornaments, beautiful as native pigeons, never sat on your lap.what would you know?)

rasha rasha "Levani" la,
jaam uchat ka musalmaan sha.

(come and join the mad man(Ghani Khan),by lifting the real cup and become a true believer.)

da rendano pa mezhab sha
jannati pe de jahaan sha.

( adopt the philosiphy of the wise,
and go to heaven in this world.)

thank you.Ghani Khan attended engineering university here in the US.and was reflecting over the misery of the farmer working for fifty cents a day in utmanzo bonda verses the life of the vineyard owner living a life of comfort.i am sure he took many tours of the region and cried over the hellish life of his people.
