One of my favorite manic songs! This song has the feel of a speeding train to me...

I think this Version's sound is a little bit better.
But the hottest Noble/Bowlly number is "Who walks in when I walk out"
Sincerley,

@dudemantwo I kinda agree with JVTeragarden. But yeah, the 1930s were sophisticated. I do wish I lived in that decade.

@dudemantwo I'll comment; I think you're confusing it with the 1920's, which this arrangement strongly evokes, despite the year recorded.
Nice arrangement, though, very hard to play with this combination of precision and feeling.

Am born after World War II but I could say Great Band, Great Al Bowlly, Great Music.. The best crooner this AL....

@dudemantwo ..I would definitely stop off at a1930s dance hall in my time machine. : )

This is quite a "fast" song for Al. He was more at home with lovely ballads. Enjoyed hearing this. Thanks for posting.

Soloists - unknown (clarinet), Harry Berly (viola, under Bowlly), Max Goldberg (muted trumpet), Harry Berly (viola, again!), Harry Jacobson (piano), Ernest Ritte (baritone sax). Berly may also be the clarinet soloist.
Wonderful music and presentation. Noble and Bowlly hotter as ever.

The 1930's seemed to exude class and sophistication...anyone want to comment?
