Today and Tomorrow ch.5

i'm trying out a new writing style tell me if u like it or not! Now on with the read!
Meg's point of view-
I woke up around 7ish curled up on my bunk. We had left on the buses the night before and a sort of excitement still hung in the air. Franchesca and I hadn't had a chance to talk to the other people on our bus. I crawled down from my bunk figuring that that little ball of energy was already up. I stared out the window thinking about Joe. He was so sweet but so infuriating. I wanted to be near him, but a thousand miles away at the same time! I shook those silly thoughts out of my head and wandered back to the bus rec room. Of course there was Chessa. She was lounging on the couch with a carton of ice cream and a spoon.
"Chess why are you eating ice cream?"
"Why aren't you eating ice cream?"
"Touche."
Chessi is not a morning person, although she wakes at abnormal times. So instead of proding her for anymore answers, I figured I would get ready for the long day ahead of us. Taking one step foward, I heard a loud, gayish voice ring out through the bus.
"HEEEEYYYY GUUUUUUUUYYYSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!"
"Hi?", i replied, kinda scared/creeped out. The voice was coming from a rather cute guy, wearing pink plaid pajamas. Figures. This could be cool a gay guy best friend. I pondered the idea for awhile, but was interuppted by the subject its self.
"Hey i'm Mikey and i am gay, so for your 411! I"'m going to be your best friend!"
Wow...."Hi, I'm Meghan, meg if u wish, and This is Franchesca,Chessi"
Franchesca had been staring at him for the longest time, I don't know if it was out of curiousity or laziness. She then finally decided to open her mouth.
"Sup, I'm Chessi, Chessa, or Chess, Just no Fran please."
"Great! so do you know when we are getting to this place thingy?" he asked us.
"Ummmm i think we should be getting there in like an hour." I replied
"ok, I'm going to get ready see you later chickas!"
Chessi dropped her spoon in the carton turned looked at me and said, "well that was interesting..."
At that moment a small girl walked through the door, she was tiny and compact with her red hair falling right below her ears. She had little ponytails held with colorful bands on the top of her head and freckles across her nose. She looked like she walked out from the first grade but in a mature, cute way.
" Hey guys! I'm Amelia." Her small voice rang out. Figures she has a southern accent.
Chess seemed to have gotten her bearings for she jumped up ran over to Amelia. "I'm chessi and I'm going to call you Lia, kay?"
"kay!" Amelia chuckled at my friends peppy attitude.
"I'm meghan" I decided to contribute to the conversation.
"Hey Meghan, Chessi! Does someone want to help me get ready? I'm hopless when it comes to fashion."
i knew that would do it, for Chessi practically sprinted to the back of the bus. Amelia and I stood laughing at her energy and enthusiasm.
1 hour later-
(still megs point of view)
We had arrived at the performing studio all looking fabulous thanks to Mikey and Chess. Those two got along like peanut butter and Jelly!
As soon as we got off the bus Chess ran towards Kevin with the hugest smile on her face. I hadn't seen her this happy since she dated that Vic guy in High School. I was happy for her, she deserved a good guy like Kevin, he would take care of her. I then saw Joe walking casually over to me. He looked kindof nervous. I felt irritated at him but then he smiled and this tingly sensation warmed my whole body. I felt myself smiling back.j
"so...we're not starting rehearsals for a couple hours and i was wondering if you wanted to grab lunch?" He asked.
"Sure, why not?"
"Great! Follow me" he replied.
"wait we don't have a car!"
"we're going to walk it's not that far...and I thought we could talk along the way..."
'"that sounds good!"
He smiled and took my hand...
