Petting the wild raccoon baby

After gaining the trust of the mama raccoon over the summer, she trusted us enough to bring her babies over. She growled at first, afraid for her two youngsters, but they saw me feed her out of my hand and today, for the first time, the brave one decided to let me pet it when he was eating. The other little one is a bit too shy and skittish, and the mama gave a couple warning growls, but she's learned not to bite the hand that feeds her, and to be honest, I don't think she really understood that I was touching her baby.

They are cool. I think raccoons are cute but they are wild animals and can carry disease and parasites.
