Ilandru: about the uOLED 128 GMD1, is that display really glowing even though the PDF on-line manual says it has "No backlighting?" I need to find out. Please reply.

Is this done with 4DGL or via serial with an external uC? Either way, this is really great, any chance you could post your code?

Hi AAvista:
The display isn't glowing, the background is black. There is a plastic sheet protecting the display (the green tab is used to remove it). Is that what you mean?

External micro, Atmel AVR. It might have been posted already on AVR Freaks. If not, send a note, I will try to track it down.
