http://www.videotutorialzone.com - (Part 1 of 3) The Joomla Content management system makes running a dynamic website easier than ever, but it is really meant to be run on a Linux server. For those thast want to run it on a Windows server, getting it set up is quite complicated, but not impossible. This is because getting Joomla, PHP and MySQL all to play nicely in IIS is quite a chore. This is the first in a series of 3 tutorials that will get you running Joomla on Windows with Internet Information Server (IIS) in under an hour.

  • Man, you video really really sucks... NOTHING YOU PRESENT HERE RESEMLES REALITY... NOTHING.. it's like you aren't even installing php....

  • It's a content management system written in php that allows you to just keep up with content and layout. You don't have to write php or html code if you don't want to.

  • Joomla! is a content management system platform for publishing content on the World Wide Web and intranets as well as a Modelviewcontroller (MVC) Web Application Development framework.

    The system includes features such as page caching to improve performance, RSS feeds, printable versions of pages, news flashes, blogs, polls, website searching, and language internationalization.

  • CMS=>Content Management System.

    A CMS is software that keeps track of every piece of content on your Web site, much like your local public library keeps track of books and stores them. Content can be simple text, photos, music, video, documents, or just about anything you can think of. A major advantage of using a CMS is that it requires almost no technical skill or knowledge to manage. Since the CMS manages all your content, you don't have to.

    cheers

  • Can any one please tell me what is Joomla CMS

  • which anti virus you use on your server?

  • OMG Windows is the worst server ever. Wouldn't cold fusion work with Apache? Might save you some hassle in at least dropping IIS.
