Your set up is definitely quieter than mine (Nashbar). but i love the parabolics. you can still wipe out, but not as likely as a novice would be on this set up.

those look sweet, and quiet too! well done, sir!

beautiful execution. much nicer than my own.

I would love to make some rollers of my own. How did you do it? Or if you know of any good online tutorials, could you send me the links?

how much did that whole set up cost you in the end?

thing is a lot of this is recycled, got the rollers, cheap bearings, and wheels free but I'll try to throw an estimate if you want to build one.
- old set of rollers $75
- quality replacement bearings for the rollers $25
- wood for the frame $15
- cheap bearings for small wheels and alignment (x20) $20
- various bolts $10
Et voila $145
But I am finishing an excellent upgrade, coming soon...

Hey man im yryin to make my own set of rollers and pretty much everything looks pretty straightforward to make...(ive looked at guides on diferent site) but my q is what is the size (in diameter) of your "drums" or whatever the 3 bars the bike is on is called and where in the world can you find them??

The base is is a standard bike trainer. You can probably find a second hand one for cheap, I wouldn't bother making that part. So don't worry too much about the diameter of the drums, use what you find, altough small drums are used on the best freemotion
