hey i have a few questions. was that fairly simple to do to the bass drum? is it possible to put on each drum? please send me email through youtube. thanks

@Tylethian It's very easy. If you're talking about having a sound sensor for each drum then that would involve too many wires and would be a big hassle. Check out this sound activated LED controller. youtube.com/watch?v=E6l4gg14Ttc , this came out after my project was completed but would of have made things a bit easier.

@dsayone hmm that doesnt seem to be exactly what i need. i am trying to do what you did to your bass drum to each drum. it might be a hassle but definately worth it because it just looks amazing. haha. so maybe there is a way to do it?

@Tylethian For my bass drum, I used the controller from one of those sound activated t-shirt. Just replace the mic on the controller with an extension wire to a piezo pickup attached to the bass drum. Hook up the lead to go to the LED on the drums. You'll need to add more power to the lights because it is only a 3 volt controller system and the lights won't light as well as it's rated for (12v). You'll have to repeat it for each drum you want sound activated.
