  • i wonder which day this psalm comes actually true?...

  • LOL @ "Might be using a hyperbole" ....because he just as easily Might NOT be using hyperbole, thus rendering the book an untenable & morally repugnant work of Iron Age fiction.

  • @sicktrix91 If continually being challenged by the viciousness of other humans, animals, bacteria, & the danger of genocide, disease, famine, etc. is in fact just, then ...yeah, sure: your Yahweh, or their Allah is a just deity. Otherwise, nature is unjust, & we just have to deal with it. I can handle that. I'd rather admit to that fact, then pretend I know with certainty that there is a deity who cares about us, & that I know how to interpret "his" "mind". Nevertheless: thank you.

  • @mouthyweasel hmm, a bit out of context. I'm no theologian, but from the rest of the passage, it appears that David, the psalmist aka poet, might be using a hyperbole to describe how upsetting and evil the enemies of Israel were. Either that, or he was talking about how the enemies of the Edomites (the people he was talking about the baby killing for) were no better than them and would be that brutal. Regardless, God is a Just God and knows what's up. God bless!

  • Isn't it the "VALLEY of the SHADOW of death"?

  • "Lost" had the BEST drama I've ever seen....Ill miss it!

  • I prefer the message of Psalm 137 when it says, "Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks. " I think I'd rather like to throw my enemy's infants against rocks. Can you imagine what that would look like? How it might sound? Smell? Feel? Lifting an infant over your head and throwing it down as hard as you can against rocks. GOD I love the bible! Thank you Yahweh for this clearly divinely inspired book from supernatural magicsville.

  • Echo was my favorite character early on, bc of the beard and bc he was awesome. Of course, as the majority of my favorite characters, he died.

  • so sick!

  • for those who but things that may upset people who beleave in the bible just think what would of happened if the world ended on the 21st when all the people you know who do beleave in the bible died what you would you do
