yall have to take in praspective that 5$ a day is more than americans get a week.

5$ a day is more than minimum wage for americans.

BUT 5$ a day is not much to live off on it is $1825 A YEAR! which is less than most americans make in a month (lower middles class).

walmart is way more expensive than kroger and kroger is way more expensive than aldi's. the only time i go to the store is for food.

there is alot of things ytou can only get at kroger and i go there whenever i have enough money. it is a luxurary for me.

i go to target and walmart for personnel items

Wal-Mart isn't affordable - we all pay for it whether we shop there or not. It's a taxpayer-subsidized corporation.

They've spent a lot of money to make people believe they're prices are low. As soon as they eliminate competition, they raise prices. I was just reading about that. I'll see if I can find the link.

Indeed. I hate Walmart, but it is, as you say, the only place the elderly (and others, probably) can afford to shop... Yeah it's sad. So, so sad...
