I'm not too fond of the echoing sound. I've got two tracks by Donald Thorne (or North as he was called also) playing compositions of his own. They are not in my 'collection' of transfers, but I'll try to het 'm uploaded a.s.a.p.

"Lido Lady" was a Rogers and Hart smash hit in the West End in 1926 so the linking of the show with the song title on the label makes perfect commercial sense !

You're exactly right about that sound! It seems like everything that can go wrong with YouTube is in full force today! Virtually nothing plays easily!

A lively piece enhanced for me by the NATURAL slight echo effect of its recording in presumably a largely empty hall !
