Mackey Feary and Kalapana is a part of Hawaii's music and history ...most of us grew up and listened to all their music. My very first concert was the 1st Kalapana and Cecilio & Kapona concert at the Waikiki Shell ....and the memories I have along with others that were there is one that I will carry with me forever ...it is PRICELESS! Ty again Mackey your music will carry on forever ...I fell in love to your first album like many others ...you will forever be a part of my life .Rest in peace!

My heart goes out to the Feary ohana and the many , many friends and fans.....we all have battles of our own and we all have suffered great losses ..but Mackey like many other artisits are one of the greatest losses for Hawaii and the Feary ohana...

We have lost many great talented young artists all who lost their battles wit drugs some that were really fighting to survive and their struggles were long and hard and in the end had succumb to it.
