Actually, that is a frontside.

its backside boardslide

I know, I decided being that since I'm doing all these tricks, I should find out the names. Like I just found out I was doing 5s in the pipe, when I thought they were 3s lmao

For anyone who dosn't know what makes it a FS or BS, her'sw the DL. Whatever edge of the board you're on when you leave the ground and hop up on the rail, your toe (frontside) or heel (backside) determines if it's a FS (like this vid) or BS. It's the same as skateboarding. But what I said below is true for jumps, not jibs.

okay dude, i give up. yeah, it's because he's on his toe side when he pops. that's what defines a frontside boardslide.
-
hahaha Yeah I found out, it's different on rail; I thought the same rules applied for jumps. But for eveeryone who wants to know what makes this a FS, is when he left the ground to jump on the rail, he was on his front side, aka his toe side when he went in the air. And really, whether I was wrong is beside the point. I mean it's not like a spent a lot of tim to remember this, especially because I was wrong lol, so I couldn't have spent that much time looking into it.
-
well whoever it was, they were wrong. and you're calling this guy a dumbass and spouting some serious poser shit so i suggest that you try really hard to remember and then thank that person for assisting in making you look like a) an asshole b) a poser c) a tool. EVERYONE WHO READS THIS...DO SO VERY CAREFULLY: THIS IS A FRONTSIDE BOARDSLIDE. ask any skateboarder you know. just don't ask your stupid snowboarder friend who's "totally sick" cuz he like "totally got sponsored".
-
no thats frontside
-

-
