  • I Swear to God the animations looked awesome back then.

  • @DocWilyZ Probably not, since his concept has been pretty much the same since FF3(J) on the Famicom.

Not like huge liberties aren't taken with most of these, though (Shiva as an ice goddess, what?)

And yeah, it's a video game, not mythology class, I'm done nerdraging :P

  • @J0cked Maybe it's just easier to animate?

  • @DocWilyZ Yeah, that's what I mean. He keeps getting both the number of eyes and horse legs wrong. Note how it only has six. And when you see his face there's always two eyes. In every Final Fantasy Odin summon that I'm aware of.

Oh well, I guess he just thinks it looks cooler or something.

  • @J0cked Because Sleiphnir, even in the original Norse mythos, was one fucked up horse; that is to say, always (correctly) depicted with 8 legs. As for Odin, fuck if I know; he should have one eye.

  • Amano, y u keep drawing Odin with too many eyes, and Sleipnir with too few legs?

  • @brainjuice654 cause that would be cheating

  • @DullBones on ff7 odin uses zantetzuken 100% on reg enemies but he never does it on bosses

  • Gogo Zantetsuken!

  • Lucky bastard!
