yes, u must only install compiz fusion or ccsm

It's the registration that occupies much ram. my acer aspire ona has 512mb ram, and only OS occupies 200mb ram and the registration puts stress the adpter and accordingly the ram. however with 1gb you don't have problem with the registration. i have try on win 7 with 1.5gb ram and the recording was much slower.

no installa,sudo apt-get install compiz compiz-fusion-plugins-unsuppor­ted compiz-fusion-plugins-extra libcompizconfig-backend-gconf compizconfig-settings-manager, ovviamente devi disattivare netbook remix altrimenti vanno in conflitto fra loro
