ok i have seen everywhere people bragging about their "turkens" or "churkeys". the truth is, they are not a cross of a chicken and a turkey but they are their own breed.
we baught four in the four different colors that were avaqliable at out feedmill. they are: black, white, tan and the last one is striped much like an Aucana chick. they lay white eggs and are not realted to turkeys! click..

  • i baught mine as chicks, you're best bet would be the internet. but be warned, they think they have feathers on their necks, but in fact they have very thin skin, so sticks, dominance disputes and, um, roosters can be harmful/fatal

i keep mine in a different pen with my bantams.
