@nrevelations777 Haha, yeah well think of it this way: as long as the man isn't a threat to anyone else, the police want to do all they can to keep him from killing himself. Its not until he poses a threat to others that he needs to be dealt with to prevent anyone else from being harmed. Its not that the cops want to shoot him, but they have to be prepared to protect not only themselves, but other civilians too. I guarantee that every cop there was hoping they would not have to shoot.

aha, im sry i found it ironic that the dude threatens suicide so the cops are cautious so that he doesnt but then positions to take a kill shot a few minute later...
